Question by imjapanese: can you tell me the difference between gross from net profit?
can you please explain it to me in a very simple way.
i searched the net but i cannot understand the terms like revenue, etc.
please give examples, like how to calculate it.
pls pls. i cant contact my cpa sister.

In the very basic of terms:
Your gross profit is all the money you take in for the sale of your goods and/or services
The net profit is what is left over after you pay all of your expenses, such as salaries, cost for raw materials, taxes, etc.
